Valerie Garcia

Valerie was born in Puerto Rico, but has spent over 20+ years in Florida, until moving to Arizona in the summer of 2023 to work on her Primary teacher training through the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies. She graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. She worked in Corporate Marketing for 6+ years before making the change to Education, following her passion of working with children. She will receive her AMI Primary Diploma in the summer of 2024. 

In her free time, Valerie enjoys traveling, exploring new places and outdoor spaces, hiking, and enjoying the great outdoors. She loves nature, spending time with animals and loved ones, and reading.
