Amy Eckert

Amy decided to become a teacher when she was 14 years old because she loves to learn and wants to share learning with others. She began working in public schools immediately after graduating high school while she attended education courses at MCC. In 2017, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. Amy speaks Spanish as her second language and has been lucky enough to study abroad in Spain and Costa Rica. She has worked in a variety of school settings including private, public, and charter in both Arizona and Wisconsin. She has experience teaching dual language as well as private tutoring.

In her free time, Amy enjoys baking, reading, doing yoga and watching old 90’s cartoons with her husband. She has a fluffy tabby cat named Mumper and a smiley husky dog named Archibald.
