Nick Velde

Nick grew up in Chandler, Arizona. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s degree in English as well as a Master's degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics. His teaching experience includes university level instruction in Turkey, Japan, and here in Arizona. He also has experience teaching ELA at the high school level.

Nick is currently taking his Montessori Adolescent Orientation training and looks forward to gaining even more knowledge of the Montessori approach through practice and observation. 

In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with his two children and wife. He also enjoys traveling, making music, cooking, film and literature, fine arts, and hiking and backpacking when time permits.
